Lilly Miller Moss Out! For Roofs & Structures
Kill moss quickly on roofs and surfaces, including galvanized gutters, with this dry microgranule moss killer. The exclusive non-staining, non-corrosive formula kills surface mosses to protect outdoor surfaces against moss damage.
Prolong the Life of Outdoor Surfaces
Kill damaging moss on roofs, decks, steps, patios, sidewalks, fence posts and other outdoor structures made of composition shingles, wood, gravel, brick and unpainted cement. Avoid all contact with plants and lawns.
Apply During Peak Seasons for Moss Growth
Treat roof and surface moss right before fall rains and in early spring, as growth peaks during wet, cool weather.
Apply Direct From Container As a Powder
For preventive treatments, apply at a rate of 6 lbs. of dry moss killer to 6,000 sq. ft of area. For heavy moss growth, use 6 lbs. per 1,200 sq. ft.
Mix With Water for Spray Applications
For preventive sprays, mix at a rate of 1 lb. of product to 3 1/3 gallons of water. Use 1 gallon of mixture per 300 sq. ft. of area. Spray until thoroughly wet. For heavy moss growth, mix 1 lb. of product with 2 gallons of water and use 1 gallon of mixture per 100 sq. ft. Do not store mixed solution in your sprayer or sprinkling can. Damage may occur.
Apply Liberally to Higher Roof Areas
Rains will help move moss killer from roof peaks down through lower moss patches, optimizing your product and labor.
Remove Dead Moss from Surfaces
Moss should die within three to five weeks, depending on the thickness. Hose, sweep or rake dead moss from the treated area once dead.
